⚠ This third plan's URL is inconsistent across the page itself: the “See what's included” link points to /sole-trader-property-or-investor-tax-return, while the page's own schema.org JSON-LD lists the same $229 offer at a different path, /sole-traders-advanced-tax-return (see the Schema section below). Separately, an earlier Tax Falcon page reviewed in this session was a standalone “Sole Trader Tax Return” page living at /sole-trader-tax-return — a third, different URL again. Worth confirming which of these three paths is the real, live page and fixing the other references to match.

⚠ All four “Learn More” cards in this section are non-functional as links. The three with a destination path have that path set as an href attribute on a <div> element, not an <a> tag — href does nothing on a div, so clicking these cards does not navigate anywhere despite looking like clickable cards. The CSS even defines a “resource-card-link” style (an arrow-icon “read more” link) for this purpose, but it isn't actually used in any of the four cards' markup. This looks like a template bug worth fixing — either wrap each card in a real <a>, or add the missing resource-card-link element.

Questions

Pricing FAQs

Is the price really all I pay?

Yes. The flat fee for your plan covers ATO pre-fill, deduction checks and a full review by a certified tax agent, with no hidden extras.

Do I have to pay upfront?

Where eligible, you can choose to have our fee deducted from your refund once it's issued, so there's nothing to pay before you lodge.

How do I know which plan is right for me?

The Student plan suits full time students, the Standard plan suits most working Australians, and the Advanced plan suits sole traders, property owners and investors. If you're not sure, start your return and we'll confirm the right fit before anything is lodged.

Is the fee tax deductible?

Yes. The cost of managing your tax affairs can generally be claimed as a deduction the following year.

What if my situation doesn't fit neatly into one plan?

If you have a business, a rental property or investments alongside other income, the Sole Traders and Advanced Tax Return covers every applicable schedule regardless of your employment status.

Can I switch plans if my return turns out more complex?

Yes. If extra schedules apply once you get started, we'll let you know and confirm the right plan and price before your return is completed.

When is the tax return deadline in Australia?

The Australian financial year runs from 1 July to 30 June. If you lodge your own tax return, the usual deadline is 31 October.

Note: the JSON-LD phrases the second question slightly differently — “Do I have to pay anything upfront?” versus the on-page “Do I have to pay upfront?” — same meaning, minor wording mismatch.
